What is BMI?
BMI (Body Mass Index) is a measure that uses your height and weight to work out if your weight is healthy.
Formula: BMI = weight (kg) / height (m)²
Example: If you are 170cm tall and weigh 70kg:
BMI = 70 ÷ (1.7 × 1.7) = 24.2
BMI Categories
Underweight: BMI less than 18.5
Normal weight: BMI 18.5-24.9
Overweight: BMI 25-29.9
Obese: BMI 30 or greater
